Brother Knights “this is what I was supposed to say on the 6th of June 2020 at our Great Installation, which did not happen”.

Again, I would like to thank our Grand Master ME Kt Bob Bennett for all his hard work, and dedication to our Order. He promised three years ago, in 2017 that we, the members will spend happy times as well as move upwards and onwards. I think we all agree that he kept his promise and achieved most of his goals.

Most of the administrative work has been done and I am looking forward to a NEW era for our Great Priory of Queensland. We are currently restricted by the Health Authorities and the State Government with regards to our daily life. I am sure and positive that we shall climb out of this situation and continue to enjoy our Social and Masonic life especially our Order.

My aim will be to work towards Donations to the Q I M R  Berghofer Medical Research Institute, Melanoma research, under the leadership of Professor Adele Green. Our GVC and I had a meeting with Professor Green which I shall elaborate later.

There will no set visitation calendar but I seek the support and participation of our RGSPs, those holders of Knight Grand Cross of the Temple (GCT), Knight Commander of the Temple (KCT) willing and able to represent the Grand Master at Installation and other important events.

As your Grand Master I urge you to support the Melanoma Research as a very important cause, and together we can organise social days / evenings to have fun and at the same time fundraise. (More on fundraising later on). I am sure there are many members who will present valuable ideas and continue our motion forward.

R E Kt Jack Manasserian  GCT
